A few days ago, I open up my laptop and - oh look, I have updates. As usual, I give my computer the go-ahead. Then my computer tells me I have to restart it. So I obediently comply. After it restarts, I realize TO MY HORROR that I now have a brand new computer! Not in the good brand-new-computer type of way, but the HOLY CRAP EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER TYPED, DOWNLOADED AND PURCHASED OFF I-TUNES IS GONE!!! I called my brother to get some help. I should apologize to him because he probably thought one of our relatives was dead by how hard I was crying. Then he told me how much it costs to restore a computer and I continued crying. I said a prayer, and then my Holy Ghost whispered to me and said, "Restart your computer again." This seemed like a very good idea. And it was! Miracle in our day. My computer was resurrected. This experience taught me a lot. Like how I should have everything on my computer backed up somewhere else. But it also taught me that I cherish my dear little computer and all it holds inside ... way more than I should. OH - and listen to the still, small voice.
