School has been in session for a total of 5 whole days. And I am already so drained, tired, worn- out, weary, and exhausted that I cannot bear the thought of another 175 days more to go. I am trying to love the theif, the yeller, the "bolter", the do-nothings, the kid who falls out of his chair every day, the just-plain-wierdos, the one who can't zip up his pants, the know-it-all, the bathroom dwellers, and the jillions of kids with ADD. But it is HARD. There. I'm done complaining. I actually really do love my job. Some of the time. Here are some pictures of my classroom this year and the cute bulletin boards my mom and Cass helped me make. They slaved away for me and now my room is new and improved. Which is much appreciated since I feel like I live there.

Seriously, this room makes me exhausted. Remind me never to show you mine.
Ha, ha! That sounds tiring...just reading those descriptions. Maybe you should think about teaching older children...one's who can zip up their pants without assistance! Ha, ha :)
OH man emily, i couldn't do it. Reading this made me have a headache. Seriously, good luck to you.
I love your description of the different students. It's so true! I bet your students absolutely adore you!
