This year my crafty dad made reusable gingerbread house kits for all us kids ... so we decided to decorate them together! My parents recently attended a gingerbread house museum and had awesome ideas so they probably would have won if Charlie hadn't been "helping." Their house was a cabin with a frozen lake. Alisa and Bryce made the snow-fortress. Andy's house is pretty rad with licorice spider webs. Natalie's was "organic," very unique, and gets my vote, personally. As for Jesse and I, I think our best feature was the smoke coming out of the chimney. The very best part? Eating more candy than made it onto the houses. Yum!

Wow. I tell you what, those are impressive! Can't wait to see them up close and personal next week -- assuming they're still around...
Happy one-week-before Christmas, Em and Jesse!
