new favorite craft

My Craven aunts are very crafty. We had a girls' day and they taught me how to

do this particular type of folk art on anything made of wood.

You start out painting the whole thing black,

then draw your picture on with pencil.

Wherever the pencil is, that is where you DON'T paint with color.
