Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

and just one year later!

on Benjamin's birthday, Jesse had a half-day at work so we went to the park and fed the ducks. Benj loved it. i was freaked out by the bossy and aggressive geese, but he didn't mind them at all.

next we headed across the street for some cotton candy ice cream

the next week, we celebrated with a family party.

here are the cousins introducing him to the joy of bubbles.

everything was Benjamin's favorite color: orange

the highlight was watching him fling handfuls of cake into the air

he received his very own lawn mower. jackson boys inherit a natural inclination towards these machines and he knew just what to do with it. in fact, here he is teaching his cousin cha how to use it.

he was spoiled with many wonderful gifts from grandparents and aunts and uncles. we all feel so loved and supported by such loving family. and now we're off!
