falling leaves and the pumpkin patch

My kids rough housing in the nursery.  Good thing they have each other because a lot of the time, they are the only two in there.
Leaf raking season has begun!

It was SO adorable hearing Maddie giggle and giggle in the leaves!  Her first autumn as a cognizant human and she is taking it all in and loving it.

Jumping into the leaf pile!

Another first for Maddie, finally she can see what Benj is watching on the TV in her big girl car seat.  She has always fought me getting into her car seat and I was hoping this would help, but she still hates getting strapped in.

We left her alone with some markers and she thought they tasted pretty good.

Benj saw Dad out working and requested his power drill so he could assist.  We now have a covered walkway to the garage.  Now we need some rain and snow to test it out.

The Pumpkin Patch

I think he is so handsome in this one.

I tried and tried to talk him into choosing a big orange pumpkin, but he insisted on buying that weenie green thing he is carrying.  Oh well!  He is stubborn and weird.

Playing at the park with cousins.

Hiking in the mountains with our favorite buddies.

The boys built this train and let Maddie come for a ride.

This poor quality photo is from a night when the power went out.  We had candle-lit baths and spaghetti dinner and were all disappointed when the power came back on.

Saturday morning walk around Temple Quarry.  Of course we had to bring cars along.
Maddie is a trooper.

We had a really nice, relaxing dinner at HARMONS of all places.  The downtown store is amazing.  We really enjoyed eating by the cozy fireplace.  It is a best-kept secret so we had the place to ourselves and the kids could go crazy.
