candy houses, pedicures, and a snow hike

Candy house decorating!  You can bet this was a highlight of my kids' entire lives.
Crazy cousins on a sugar high...

He knows real men wear pink.
Its a good day when you need sunglasses, especially during winter in Salt Lake!

Waddle waddle.

Chaos at Nana Bett's.  A happy coincidence, Liz and Jordyn arrived during our playdate.  Gracious Nana Bett was so kind about the kids tearing her house apart.  She even baked us the most amazing sugar cookies and fed us hot chocolate.

The next day, we took Grandma for a pedicure for her Christmas present.  She said it was a testimony to her that the Lord is aware of even the little things, as she had been so badly wanting a pedicure for a long time, but needed someone to go with her.  That made us feel pretty good.

Headed up to Midway again this weekend to play "the car game" some more.
Too lazy to take our kids to the swimming pool, so we swam in the big tub instead.

Went on a beautiful hike around the river in the morning.  Benjamin thought it was great.

Maddie can't ever seem to stay awake on hikes.

We are just enjoying this Christmas season with our wonderful kids and thrill in the excitement they have for all the little things.  Counting down the days to Santa's arrival!

Just so you know we loved your pictures again this week. Kelly describes your babes as happy children and it is so evident they are.
