I know I am becoming old woman now as watching tube riders is more entertaining than being on tube. Also have increasing thoughts of "What if legs get chopped off with boat propellor? Hmmm. What happens if boat takes off while rope is wrapped around skier's hand or worse - head??" and "Surely boat driver is not paying attention and is about to ram us into cliff." I regret to admit that this was also my first trip to Lake Powell without cliff-jumping.
Nonetheless, this place is still my favorite vacation spot. It is a place where one minute you are being pulled behind a boat at ridiculous speeds, the next you are relaxing with a book. Soon you feel so dead-tired you figure you will certainly have to spend the rest of your life laying comatose there on top of the houseboat. Your eyes feel glued shut. Two seconds later you have been engaged in an all-out water fight, running around with a super-soaker, pushing people overboard and laughing hysterically. No five-star hotel can top that.

Wow, Em - That last picture was quite the shocker! Even though I have seen that lovely piece of history before, it still made me giggle.
Um, can you remind me why I was not invited?
Shred on Jess!!! That looks like a fun board:) I heart Lake Powell.
