Right now, my parents are in an airplane to Germany where they will be for the next 18 months on their mission. As a last hoo-rah we took the boat out one more time:
Dad gets a surfing lesson.
First time ever, and got up on his first try!
So proud of my old man!
It was chilly, so Maddie got to wear her most adorable polar bear outfit.
Best Friends
Mom and Dad, you are pretty much the only ones who look at this blog any more, but I am going to keep it up just for you so you can see what we're up to and how the kids are growing. It was hard to say goodbye! I don't think I can ever thank you enough for all the work you did at my house before you left. I feel very spoiled. I don't know if you've done me a favor, making me extra dependent on your help, but thanks anyways!

When I got him out of his crib this morning, the first thing he did was point to this picture with a huge smile on his face. Can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving, but til then we'll be looking at your picture and practicing your names!
