Thanksgiving and Spencer's Wedding

At the library, anxiously waiting for Nana and Tada to arrive.  The best part of the library is sticking your face over the air vents.
They're here!  We'd been looking forward to this reunion for a few months.  We were curious to see how Benj would react to finally seeing his best buddy.  He went crazy!  Running around and around the house in circles.  Mom and Dad seem German already.

We know Nana must be here because we wake up to our laundry clean and folded.

I spy Nana in the garden.  She and Tada got my yard all spiffed up.  I'm so spoiled!

On a walk with Natalie and a spoiled doggy.

Pie Night preparations!  Benj gets to help make the whipped cream.

I made lemon meringue, sweet potato, strawberry and peach pies.

Love a chaotic house when it's full of family!

Nerds.

The jet lag was hard to shake at first.

The highlight of pie night ... Rich got a chocolate pie to the face.  Oh, we laughed so hard.

This little miss likes to party all night sometimes.  But it's hard to be mad at such a sweet face.

Benj finally gets a bona fide haircut.
Traditional hike up to Ensign Peak on Thanksgiving morning.  One, two, three, whoopsy daisy!

An impromptu meditation session.

Admiring the view.

My contribution to Thanksgiving dinner.  Yummmmm!

Dinner at the Smyth's was DE.LIC.IOUS!

The boyzz.

Traditional picture at the peak.  Our family is getting BiGGer!

Hot tubbing in Midway.

Dinner at Cafe Rio as Spencer's last supper.

Movie night before the big day!

Xan and Spencer are married!

Bryce wanted to be one of the bridesmaids.

Spencer is a popular guy.

Reception at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building

Maddie is a party pooper.  Sleeping through dinner.

Bryce made the most incredible movie for Spence and Xan.

Spencer the med student, cutting the cake with the skill of a surgeon.

This headband.

Congratulations Xan and Spencer!  So excited to have Xan in our family!

Such a fun weekend!  So sad it's already over and it's hard not knowing when our family will all be together again.  In the meantime, I guess we'll cheer ourselves up this way:
