a happy happy halloween

Benjamin made this paper jack o' lantern at the library.  He is quite proud of it.

Trick or Treat!

At Grandma Janet's house.  She took a bunch of cute pictures of the kids.  Here are a couple of them.

At Grandpa Jonathan's house.  He got out his super awesome magical lightning ball for the wizard to play with.

Leaf raking day!

We had such a fun Halloween.  Holidays just get more and more fun with kids.  Benjamin loved it especially and ever since loves to pretend to be a ghost, scaring us with "Ooooooh!" noises.  We went to the school parade on Halloween morning to see Andy and Charlie.  Later, Benjamin got to go trick or treating indoor at Darin's work.  That worked out great because we spent Halloween night visiting all our grandmas and grandpas instead of trick or treating and our kids had a great time and still got plenty of candy.  Love this time of year!  Now on to Thanksgiving!

New developments with the kiddos this week:  Benjamin has started waking up at 5 a.m. raring to go for the day.  Now with daylight savings, it will be 4 a.m.  We are hoping to solve this issue ASAP.
Maddie's vocabulary is ever increasing; new words include "apple, cheese, ice, and please."
