zoo babies on valentines

We went to the zoo a couple times last week.  Love how empty it is in the winter!  Benj felt like he owned the place.

This time at the zoo, B was so crabby until Dad started carrying him around like this, then suddenly: perfectly content.

For Valentine's Day we decided to skip the crowds and go on a lunch date.  Jesse and I ate at Layla in Holladay which was fabulous and we will definitely be going back.  In the morning, the kids and I went shopping for Valentine treats for Dad and Benj pushed his own mini shopping cart around with Maddie inside.  For dinner, I made heart shaped lace crepes with strawberries and whipped cream.
