Maddie can't be bothered with wielding a spoon. Did you know it is possible to eat soup with your fingers? Then if you wear a bib with a pocket you can slurp up the drippings. |
|
It snowed this week! Snowed and snowed! Odds are good for a white Christmas. |
|
We had fun playing for about 5 minutes, then wanted to go inside. |
|
Maddie's first experience playing in the snow. She was very intrigued. |

If you've ever wanted to witness a miracle . . . behold, this photo. The boys took a nap together! In the same bed! For hours! 'Twas an answer to my prayers too. |

We love reading a new Christmas book every night.
P.S. I don't think I told you the story of the Christmas tree in his room. Right after I set it up and he saw it in his room, he ran to it, so delighted and asked incredulously, "Mama, you put a Christmas tree in my room?" I said, "Yes, I did." Then gushing so sincerely, "Thank you, Mama! Thank you!!" |

More playing in the snow.

Face plant in the snow = fun is over. |

Strawberry smoothie beard. |

Introduced Benj to the Wii when we were in Midway. He loves getting to "drive" a car, obviously. A conversation, Me: You're really good at running into the wall. Benj: Thank you. |

On Saturday we caught the kids quietly reading books together, like a couple of angel children. Love those little moments, wish they lasted longer. |
Meeting Santa at the ward Christmas party:
|
No fear, in fact, he practically elbowed his way through the crowd to get up there. But once on Santa's lap, he choked and couldn't get out a word. He told me all week he was going to ask Santa to bring him a car. |
|
I knew she wouldn't like it, but also kind of thought it admirable that she didn't cry. She just got super mad and her face turned red and put up a good fight. |
|
We need a barricade around our tree, yet it is such a great source of entertainment as it is. |
