lawn mowers . rabbits . carousel . motherhood . and more

the next generation of Jackson lawns
Let's hope the love of the lawn mower lasts a few more years, 'cause that's how you're paying for college my boy!

We are done with baby food!  Yay!  And now that Maddie knows the difference, she would not let us go back.

This poor guy gets bloody noses way too often.  He woke up like this twice last week and just ruined his mattress.

Watching TV in a laundry basket.

Nothing sweeter than eating a popsicle with your best bud.

Biggest train track we've ever made!

Lawn mower +  fields as far as the eye can see = one happy boy

Feeding the neighbor's horses

Bike rides and BBQing on the porch.  We can't get enough of this place!

I spy a Benjamin.

Silkie has to accompany us on all bike rides.

The doctor told us Maddie's head would do this if we didn't get her sleeping on her side.

Feeding baby sister her lunch at the park.

We gave in.  He knows about the TV in the car now.  Apparently this show was a little too intense.

New sunglasses from Nana and Tada.  She's stylin' now!

Wheeler Farm
I could not tear him away.  We sat here for about half an hour.

Admiring the rabbits.

This picture is to show you B's battle wounds.  He fell down the flight of stairs off the deck from our back door.
At the zoo with cousin James.

A little nervous about this.

Riding the carousel was pretty much the highlight of his life so far.

James and Kim and a polar bear

His face doesn't show it, but he absolutely loved it.

Maddie discovers the joy of cotton candy!
It wouldn't be a Saturday in spring without a trip to Home Depot.  And if you weren't there, then you were the only person not there because everyone was there.  Notice how Jesse's head is about to explode.  But we got our garden planted and have high hopes for harvest season!  And bonus: the cashier let us have our sprinkler parts for free when our kids both started crying at the register!

On Saturday night we had a family date night with the Apo's and ate dinner at Bruges Waffles and then walked around City Creek and the temple.  Benjamin absolutely would have gone swimming if we'd let him.

Forever family!

Sealed for eternity

City Creek is seriously so fun.

Really missed being able to give my mom a hug this Mother's Day.  Next year I'm squeezing you to pieces!

And to this little dude: Thanks for making me a mother.  It's the best thing that's ever happened to me.
